Station interiors
When you are standing on a platform of any station, you will find, that the design is timeless and luxurious. That is why stations still look fresh and modern, despite being built many years ago. It is thanks to some clever lighting combined with material of tiles. Every station has its distinct colour palette, making it easy to distinguish them from each other. They were designed by Czech architect Jaroslav Otruba.
The base colour of tiles is Champagne with tiles themselves being circular in shape. They are made from durable aluminium. Marble and granite are also prominently featured in the design of all stations.
